will my ps3 overheat if i stick it in a cabinet? Ive got it out right now, but would like to move it in a cabinet. thanks

It will if it is in a closed cabinet. If you put it in a cabinet make sure you can keep the front open while in use ( at least )

as long as that cabinet has room for it. if it's a snug fit don't put it in. really you need about 4in. of space for the wall. chances are that it won't overheat to the point of it being unusable, but giving it room to breathe will let you sleep at night.

Your PS3 is crap Mine has never overheated and its not exactly ventilated its in the cabinet with 3 other consoles

it might if it is a confined space, if it is a big cabinet with a good open space all the time or while you use it atleast you should be fine

if u do that get a cooler(fan) for it then it should be fine

Yes it will. Mine even has plenty of room, but if I keep the cabinet closed while playing for about 3 hours or more it will start to overheat. But the inense sound of the fan drowning out the sound of your game should be enough of a warning for you to open up your cabinet.
