PS2 games?! omg. why ask. lol.. woooow.. god. erhm. just a sec have to check up on my check list (i keep it so i can keep track of who borrows what from me) ... well it says 234 PS2 games (but i gave like 10 games away to a friend because i didn't like them anymore) but yeah. die hard fan of games,.. freaking expensive hobby, but it's good when you have a job. lol
EDIT: oh forgot. the reason i have so many games is that i also own a *** PS2. so i can play the lovely games they have over there.
About thirty now, I traded in three times that to afford half of my PS3. To be frank though, the games I traded in were only kept in for novelty value. I hadn't touched them since I finished them and didn't care for too much. The thirty I have now are my favorites that always have replay value.
I dunno, lost count... somewhere around the 30 mark. Lots and lots of fun... still playing Smackdown 2007 till 2008 comes out, and Final Fantasy 12 till I clear that / FF13 comes out.. whichever is first.
i have 6, just got both the God of War games(i love those, they great), killzone(i think it's a good game, don't know why people hated it so much), metal gear solid 3, ratchet and clank 3 and socom 3(wanted the headset).

I have the complete series of Socom and will let you know that the first two were great if you can find them (you can still find people playing Socom 1 on line). As for the number of PS and PS2 games I have way to many, but wouldn't part with any of them for anything.

I have one PS game andthree PS2 game. I have no idea how many I've sold. Once I'm done with a game I sell it on ebay so I really don't have a big collection.
Currently, I've got 25. However I have traded in a lot of games over the years, and given some to friends. I'd have easily over 100 PS2 games if I kept them all.
58 PS2 games, 31 PSX games (though I sold quite a few PSX games, some of which I regret now). My enormous back library is the primary reason I've stuck with Sony for this generation.
Right now I only have 3. I got out of video games for a while, but now that I bought a PS3, I'm going back and buying the PS2 games that have sequels coming out for the PS3. I figure I can get a feel for whether or not I'll like the next-gen games by seeing where they came from. Plus, the PS2 games are readily and cheaply available on eBay.
Wow, I traded in my games to get my PS3. I only have one game right now. METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY I usually either trade in my games, or give them to someone less fortunate than me. I say let them enjoy them as I have. The only thing I don't like about trading in my games to gamestop is that they pay so little for them, then sell them for like five times as much. Oh well.

On topic though I'd say I currently have about 20 but I'd say I've owned over 100 what with trading them in and so on. I've even re-bought some titles that I traded. Because there's been nothing out for the PS3 that's been good for a long time I've found myself buying PS2 games again. Up until last week I'd never played Kingdom Hearts OMG what an amazing game!!!
I have about 20 of them. There are still a couple that I need to get, but I'm not in any rush to get them because there are a ton of great PS3 games coming out later this year. I still play my PS2 games all the time. In fact, I would say that I play them more than my PS3 games. I just finished playing Metal Gear Solid 2...what a masterpiece. Now I've got to find time to play Final Fantasy XII...it's going to be hard with Warhawk and Heavenly Sword coming out so soon.
