My only thought is that the joystiq forums are full of anti PS3 trolls, god I couldnt read more than 5 or 6 posts without wanting to hit them all collectivly whith a huge chunk of concrete.

I hope we are "Very Happy" next week. Motorstorm I'm not sure I'm gonna buy yet. I'm buying F1 today, but I'm still not entirely sold on Motorstorm for some reason. I'm more looking forward to what's in store for the March FW update.

Yes but my point is we already know about Motorstorm and the fact it's coming out soon.
a month long consecutive thursday release of demos.. demos... and more demos. first party, second party, and third party... and if we got fourth party.. throw them bastards in there too. (by the way, i doubt you'll see a tekken 6 demo... maybe a trailer... but not a demo. plus you get the trailer with Dark Resurrection. But Tekken 6 will drop in arcades first. and get right. and then you'll see the latest version of the arcade version drop on the ps3.)
a confirmed release date for the huge firmware update that's expected in march. I mean.. so much goodness is expected from this firmware update... can only make me happy.
movie trailers... and extra goodies for already released games.. ala extra skins for RR7 and the like. that's just all icing on the cake.
confirmed release dates of actual games... no longer speculation as to when it may drop.. but when it will drop. only see it as even more icing on the cake i do.

Yes but my point is we already know about Motorstorm and the fact it's coming out soon. Well then maybe it will be something else. It definently won't be anything to do with Killzone. They're going to keep that under wraps until a press conference or a big event. MGS4 is the same.

my thought as well What does that have to do with Phil's keynote? Phil already stated that we would be happy after his announcements next week during an interview right after the last conference.
Well I am pretty sure they will fully announce what the update is and/or release it next week. I dont believe they have put a solid date on when the update will be released, have they? If it is not that (or even if it is), it could be about assories for the PS3 since there is a lack there of.Â

it's like that on almost every single gaming site nowadays... i don't even know why all these people are dishing all the PS3 hate out, it makes no sense the PS3 is a great, well made product (i don't own one but my brother does and after just holding it i know its a solid piece of tech) comparatively speaking to the 360 which has a decent amount of good games NOW but it didn't start that way and it seems everyone has forgotten that... and plus it feels like a piece of cheap hollow plastic with a DVD player duct taped to the inside ( when you pick the thing up you can hear stuff rattling around the inside, doesn't really give you a sense of assurance the way the PS3 does) not to mention they freeze up A LOT, sometimes after like 1 hour of playing! just my opinion by the way, but what kind of GAMING system cant GAME for more than one freaking hour without freezing..... maybe i have bad luck? but then so do MANY MANY MANY 360 owners. sorry for the rant, had to get that off my chest and this is the best place to do it.
Saying its a game developers Conference and Not a Press event, my guess is it has to be something technically spectaculer or innovative rather than an announcement. This being said, Eyetoy news, Killzone looking like E32005, or a new game that some way does something amazing (Like Motorstorm had a show last year for its Mud Deformation).

I think it's like back in the 80's when people used to use "bad" to mean "cool". Nowadays it's cool to hate on the PS3. Just like all past trends, it'll go away in time.
more promising rpg would be nice. I love jrpgs and so far the only jrpg i know for the ps3 are white knights and FFXIII. Uchiha_Sasuke1
I you like traditionnal JRPGs like I do, PS3 is THE console to have. X360 isn't selling in Japan and if I want to select the magic option, I don't want to have to move the controller left, so the only choice left is the PS3.
Also, Motorstorm is already out in Japan, so I doubt he would make such a big deal about it.

I know, only a tasteless site will have all the tasteless comment. Check out kotaku, same thing... Sad to say that no matter how bad they trying to put down PS3, PS3 still sell pretty well.
