a while back i saw a video of some guy putting a so called copy of gears of war into a ps3 and it loaded up and everything it was suposed to do. i know that this was probly fake but could it even be possible. there are a lot of smart modders out there that can do some crazy things, so i was wandering if it would even be the smallest bit possible. maybe even just loading the games on to the harddrive. ??????
the video was fake, you have similar systems, but you would have to have access to the game engine and the programming code to tweak it to function on a different setup (cell and RSX) while the systems are similar, it couldnt be done by regular joe's, even the developers said they would have a tough time putting it to the PS3 (probably cause they dont know it well at all, but still, they have access to everything cause they made the game) can you walk over and shove supreme commander on your 360, or PS3? keep the dream alive i guess, but its not gonna happen, god of war 2 beat GeoW anyway, a PS2 game beat it, how about that :)

No. It will probably never happen the way you are talking. The PS3 and the 360 are two completely different machines, that require two completely different types of code. Someone would have to actually go in and change the code in order for it to work on a PS3. It's not like playing super Nintendo games on your computer/PSP via emulation. you would have to put a 360 into your PS3. That isn't to say the game companies couldn't port any 360 game over to the PS3 though.
I was kinda hoping that the TC would post soon after the initial post, stating "D'oh! Sorry guys, it was just a 360 that had been spray painted black." I feel disappointed and demand a refund.
