Unfortuantly i dont have a youtube account, but i do watch video's and the think the calboration between youtube and ps3 is a great and creative idea on ps3's part. IF they keep comming out with ideas, like play t.v., and youtube posting, surally theyll be the console champs...... right? What do you guys think ps3 needs to do to become the best once and for all...

I'll only comment on the youtube aspect since I'm really enjoying it. I believe it's a great use of the system, especially when you can watch any youtube video and click (R3) in the middle of the screen which will zoom in nicely for better view.

I was watching it about 6-7 feet away with zoom option and it didn't lose much of the quality on big screen. Very nice.

As for the later question, that pretty much belongs to System Wars. I could care less about console wars, I just play games and have good time.

This question has been asked and aswered 10 billion times but I will do it once more.

The ps3 needs to secure more 3rd party exclusives even if it is timed for let's say 6 months. They need to standardize things like keyboard and mouse functions for games that play better with them like FPS games and Strategy games. They need to continue to make development cheaper and easier for developers to use. They need to add in game functions to the online structure and pretty much have everything that 360 has and then top that. They need to advertise more on what games they have already and what they have coming. They need to make the ps3 in general cheaper still, even though it has dropped dramatically, it still is the most expensive one out there. Since the fanbase is growing and people still want to play ps2 games on their ps3, it would be nice to atleast get the price down to $450, even better if they could get the 40 gig down to original ps2 price tag $300 and the 80 gig down to $400.

Right now they are neck and neck with 360 in terms of sales. As far as taking the Wii that would be another challenge. They would just need to somehow come out with a slew of games and advertise like crazy to overtake it, and come out with a lot of Japanese games to get back into the JP Market. The only other way is for everyone to own a wii and then decide to go for the PS3. Sony pretty much already screwed themselves for the number 1 spot this generation. If Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, and White Knight Chronicles are screw ups then they can kiss goodbye the number 2 spot.

They have it good now because they have a good number of games out and now that the price is lower people can finally play these games that they are interested in, but the system was too expensive. If 08 holiday season rolls around and all 5 big games are only"good" or are pieces of crap then people will not care what else sony has on the system.

Yeah, pretty cool I have to admit. It doesn't make your regular youtube video HD, it only zooms/magnifies the screen to a larger proportion (Click R3) on your controller.

It's pretty nice if you sit away from your TV and not to close to it, it doesn't have to be HDTV, it works on any TV.

I'm hoping for the HD youtube myself, that would be awesome.

But I wonder if the uploading quality would be great...
