maybe sometime after they release the ps3 with 65nm RSX+CELL. still $399 is pretty darn cheap but I can see the ps3 at $349 mid 2008.
At $600.00 I thought I was getting a good deal for what the PS3 delivered out of the box. And now people complain about the $400.00 price that is a steal when everything that comes with the system is added up.

seriously man. i paid 752CAD for mine, and people are styll bickering about the price at 400 and 500? Wow.
yeah i don't see another price drop till next christmas season...sony's arready swallowing their pride right now and losing money.....stop worring about the freakin $50 you'll save while you're dragging sony's sales down and preventing the install base of the ps3 to go up so those of us who aren't cheap a$$es and havealready bought ours can get some better 3rd party games in the future.......hmm...that's my opinion anyways...GO BUY ONE NOW!
I paid £425GBP (not sure what that is in dollars?) for my PS3 got free game & BD too so can't complain - plus it rocks so that was my defence in spending the money.
i mean, i really dont see whats so hard about getting a job. true story: my little cousin came to my house and played my ps3. he really liked resistance and asked his mother could she get him one for christmas. she said that she couldnt afford it so you know what he did? he started cutting yards, washing cars, anything for some extra money. hes at 300 something now and im sure his mother is gonna get the rest after seeing all his hard work hes been doing throughout this summer and fall (if she doesnt, i will). and he is freakin 12 years old (11 at the time he started saving). so he will be the proud owner of an 80gb ps3. if he can do it, anyone can so stop complaining and get off your ass. if you want something, go get it.

yeah, i know the humiliation in that one for sure, but i honestly don't believe sony will drop their prices again any time soon, unless maybe MS starts selling 360's for $100 a piece like they are worth(IMO) ...I think you're safe to pick one up....get the 40gb...good deal if you don't care about playing ps2 games
The PS3 won't see a price drop until some time mid 2008. It's already a good value because you get the Blu-ray included which is an expensive feature itself.
