PS3 Price Drop in Canada

Went to Superstore this past weekend and today as well...

 ... saw the PS3 for $659.99, back at the price it was at during launch.

Dunno if this qualifies as a price cut to some people or not, but at least it's not $699.99 anymore.

Anyone else see this new price?

I saw them at Walmart and SUperstore for 659.99, at Futureshop they were still 699.99 though.

Nah, the dollar is still hanging around the mid-high 80s compared to the US dollar. Good to see some places are reverting back to the original price. I wouldn't necesarily consider it a price cut. 

Got it for 649$ CAN at EBGames at launch, it was 699$ CAN at Walmart just across the street... 

Pricedrop? Not likely.  

Price boosted? Probable. 

It stayed at 659$ since launch at EB Games and Microplay. Stores charging higher were just getting extra money in their pocket, because Sony didn't change its price.deadkingdg

No, EB Games and Microplay still have it at 659$, they never raised it.

Only Best Buy and Future Shop jacked up the prices to 699. EVERYWHERE ELSE IN CANADA IT'S 659.

A few other stores raised, but video game stores always sold it at 659$. 

it was always 659.99 at EB, zellers and walmart, sony store

only super store, best buy, and future shop made it 699.99xxgunslingerxx

No if you check sony st yle.ca it lists the PS3 as $699.99 now... they raised the price since March to match Futureshop/Bestbuy.
