Add bluetooth headsets so everyone can talk to each other then hike the price 5 dollars more... that would make it a more competitve console online and the price would be overly compensated by the ppls happiness at being able to talk..

And it would make Sony lose even more money, unless they get a wholesale deal from Motorola or something. Why would Sony do something that would make them lose money if everything's OK right now? Don't fix something unless it's broken, they say.

why dont you just go buy the 5 dollar head set then? jackle2071
nono add a 30 dollar head set and tak a 25 dollar loss it'll pay off cuz the online can at least compete..

That would be a bad move. Look at the Elite and its higher price...

The Elite isn't anymore expensive because it comes with a headset. The premium 360 comes with the exact same headset. It would be nice if the PS3 came with a headset, but oh well. What I really think is that Sony should have a PS3 branded headset. So, people can walk in, see it and know that it will work. The BD remote works perfect with the PS3 and there is really no setup. Sony should come out with a headset that is as reliable with the PS3. I have a 2 year old bluetooth headset I bought for a cell phone. It works with the PS3, but for some reason I have to pair it every time I want to use it.

Yes and they will get the $25 back through all the online subscription fees they will now make...................oh wait............

this is the most ridiculous idea ive hear of , ok lets charge ppl 5$ more i dont think sony will do this seeing how nintendo and microsoft are putting them to the floor and holden them there a 5 $ increase would make it better for nintendo and ms , wait they are already better , 'go ahead nintendo you can do it take sony out like sony did sega
