PS3 prices going up.

At my local electronics center in Canada the price of a PS3 went from $659.99 to $699.99. Also, without the bonus game and movie. I know the extras promotion is over, but to now add another $40 onto the price. I asked one of the employees about the price hike, who did not have an answer for me. Thoughts, please.

NOT sonys Fault. This issue has been disccused ONLY Futureshop/Bestbuy are doing this because they believe they are missing out because of the recent decline in the canadian dollar there money hounds everything in those stores is way more expenisve then it has to be DVD's there are still $25+. Walmart etc. still have the normal price.GloverD

Obviously, if Sony is raising the price, then there's no guarentee that the price tag won't change, and if the price is going up in Canada, think about how much the consow will cost when it launches in Europe and Australia... rickshao

I live in T.O and got it for the normal price of $659.99,the increase in price is the stores fault not Sony's.

Another retailer to add to the list of increasing their price tag for the PS3 is Wal-Mart. I went in yesterday to a Canadian Wal-Mart and its price is also $699.

they why didnt u just say future shop and best buy instead of implying that the price went up every where but using electronics centre

this is only at future shop and best buy
the reason for the price hike is because they want to make more money off uxxgunslingerxx
