okay so i just bought a slim today

my old 60 gig craped out on me (ylod, i did fix it once, but it was only a temporary fix), but befor it did i had downloaded the bad company 2 beta code

for reason i dont wanna explain (takes too long lol) i can not just open up my old existing acount onto my new slim

so i had to creat a new account, now i cant use my beta code on my slim model!

is there any way i can like fix my old 60 gig long enough to delete my account so i can re use that beta code?

or can i just swap the harddrives and then will the code work?

does anyone have any suggestions? plz i dont think there are any codes left and i MUST play bad company 2

PSN accounts can be activated on 5 different consoles at a time. The only reason you wouldn't be able to login to your account on your new slim would be because you have you account name registered on all 5 ps3s already. If not then you should be able to sign in.

temp fix your 60gb one I would say and then deactivate it with your psn account. you can't swap hard drives between ps3's without it formatting them so don't even waste your time. I tried after my first PS3 croaked... it was a sad day... thank you system locked demon souls

At one point or another, Playstation probably sent an e-mail to your registered account. Go through your e-mail accounts and do a search for like "Playstation" or "PSN". Once you find it, just use the forget your password feature.

So the reason you don't wanna explain for not being able to do it is cause you forgot your password?

You can probably hop over to playstation.com, attempt a sign in to the site, and find a forgot password link or something.
