PS3 problems please help!!!!!

Today i was playing need for speed carbon on the PS3 and as i was playing the game it suddenly froze so i quit the game and went back to the menu. I looked under the catergory where the game should of been but it was saying that there was no game in their so i ejected the disc and put it back in and nothing hapened except for the loading symbol in the top right corner spining around. i tried all of my games and the same thing kept happening so i turned off the console for a couple of hours and tried again and still the same thing happened so i repeated that once more and that still didnt work. so i am wondering if anyone has heard of this problem and if anyone has encountered it so please help me and tell me what i should do thanks.

yeah im thinking that im going to send it back. i can do all the demos and that also its just the games its just a shame because i only just got it a week agospicy93

It may still be under a returns policy depending on where you got it if it's only been a week - I would take it in and exchange it. My first PS3 wouldn't read discs right out of the box - I exchanged it and have had zero problems since.

Try Getting A Disk That Will Clean The Laser In The System Easier Then SEding Away And May Work, It Sounds Like A Laser Problem, Havent Heard Of It Before Though
