In your opinion is the PS3 worth purchasing at this time. Cuz the only game that seems really appealing right now is Resitance. Is the system worth buying right now or should I hold off purchasing it for a few months? Thank you for your help.
This is a very questionable question. This decision should be based on your own wants and needs.
I had to have the PS3 right away. 1. Once I saw the graphics and capabilities, I couldn't touch my PS2 anymore. 2. My wife is having a baby soon so it was now or never.
Anyway, can you wait? Do you want to wait? Yes there's only 4 or so games worth a crap but those games will keep you busy enough (along with demos) for another two weeks when things start rolling. Seriously, we are only talking weeks before a lot of big titles start to hit.
If your going to buy it anytime soon might as well get it now and start enjoying it. Games are starting to come out faster now and the PS store has enough demos and smaller games to keep you busy for awhile too.
buy it right now or in a week or 2 because a whole bunch of new and creative games are coming out in march so u will have time to mess around with it and put music on it,etc but anyway u will have ready for when the brand new games come out
my recommendation is to go to a place with a demo, after the first 10min. of playing it, i was sold. had one since right after christmas, and that was after playing the first motorstorm demo that sucked, but now that i played the new demo, man its kickass, cant wait for that game. plenty to do if your just getting it, resistance will keep you busy for a while, fight night 3 is a good game, and the demos and download store games take up a lot of time too.
It's a good time to get the console. OK so there are only a handful of games but at least if you buy those handful you ought to get your money's worth. More does not always mean better. e.g. I have several Xbox 360 games sitting here that I haven't even finished because something else always came along.
Another question, is the online in Resistance all it's hyped up to be, because I've heard very good things about itDuo101
As long as your okay getting owned the first 20 games or so. It takes awhile to learn the maps and some of the people that play are unreal good. I personally love the online with Resistance. The team games are what I play most.
