Im an old fan of the SC games. The last one I got for 360 was "OK" nothing great. IF the new one follows the last one, I wont be buying. The first 3 games were great though. Some of the best games I have played.
Nah, the PS3 has plenty of awesome games in its lineup this year. My PC (and another console) needs a little time to shine, so I have no problem letting it have Splinter Cell Conviction.
It doesn't really, we have God of War 3, Heavy Rain, FFXIII, and GT5 coming soon, aswell as MAG which is already out. We don't "need" it but it would be good for the PS3-owning Splinter Cell fans if we got it.
Ive never liked Splinter Cell or even the Rainbow Six games all that much which is weird because i love reading Tom Clancy books and Rainbow Six is by far my favorite from him lol.
It'll come to the PS3, don't worry. Ubisoft isn't going to go to all of the trouble of revamping one of their core franchises, only to release it on one console. 6 months after it comes out is what, October, November? It could be a holiday 2010 release. I wouldn't be surprised.

Good enough for me, giving me some time to save up and finish other games...
The PS3 does not NEED Splinter cell conviction but I am pretty sure it will be ported one day. I mean look at the track record of games that were suppose to never come to the PS3 but in the end they did.
I have played the old Splinter Cell games a good bit (going through them again now) and if it isn't released on the PS3 then I'll just find some other game to play. Not gonna buy another system just for games or build a PC again for games.
It does. In my opinion Splinter Cell has better stealth elements than MGS. It's a blast to play and the new one looks great. This and Mass Effect 2 drove me into getting a 360.
Everyones entitled to their own opinions. I think Metal Gear has the better stealth elements in my opinion, but thats not what this is about ;) I hope Conviction does hit the Ps3 Though. Double Agent did I'm pretty sure Conviction will too. Just hope this time around they work on it better than they did Double Agent Cause it wasnt the same as the 360 from what I've heard....
