credit card info? If you mean something like the money on your PSN account, it wont if you mean something like...saving the info you input everything you make a transaction for your PS3, I believe it does

I'm pretty sure all that stuff is on the PSN servers. When my 60gb died and they sent a refurb, once I logged into PSN it still had my "downloaded" list so I could get back everything I bought, and my CC info was still on there. If you're selling it or something and are worried someone's going to pull your CC info from the HDD, all you have to do is make sure your PSN ID isn't tied to any profiles (which obviously will be deleted by a format). If they can't login to your PSN then they can't see any of your info or transactions.

no i think your credit card details are linked to your online account and not on your hard drive, that why people say to delete your card details before game sharing or giving your psn details to someone else

if you want to delete your credit card info then you need to go to the account settings and fumble with the menus until you see "delete billing info" or something like that.

gamespot PS3 forums: "ANYONE CARE TO GET THIS TROPHY TO ME?" *click* "hey im looking for someone who can get me the "survivor" trophy on uncharted, so here goes my psn username and pass. my CC info is there, and I have 100 dollars on the wallet, pls dont use them, well I'll let you buy a LBP custome but just that!" epic fail
