Hey. So I received Ratchet and Clank tools of destruction from Amazon, but sadly, it's an NTSC copy, I think. I bought it from a UK company, as I'm in UK. So my question is, will my PS3 play the American copy? I don't want to open it and lose my refund right, and I thought that posting on here would get me a faster reply. Thanks.

Yes its completely region free, I have plenty of imports that play just fine.

As said before, DLC (assuming your game has it or not) will not work naturally. If the game''s region is NTSC then you'll have to own a PSN account which its address set as NTSC region address (say the WHITE HOUSE for example). As long as Sony concerns, it doesn't matter if the address is real or fictional. You just download your DLC while signed in to your fictional PSN account and enjoy. I do this a lot. I own 2 PSN accounts (one's real, one's not). I do this because my console is PAL labeled but PAL games are a lot more expensive than NTSC games so I buy the NTSC version and get my DLC if I want to with my other account.
