PS3 repair question, help!!!!!

Okay, Ive been making too many of these threads, but something out of the ordinary has happened in my PS3 breaking/Sony service situation. They said they would be shipping me the box to ship my PS3 back in sometime this week. I got an email this morning from UPS saying that a package is being shipped via UPS Quantum 3 day. The weird thing I noticed was that int he tracking info, the box weighs 4 lbs! I know I might be pipe dreaming, but is there any way they shipped me another PS3? Ive heard of people calling in complaints, and just getting new PS3's shipped to them before, but I never believed it. But how would a box shipped from the Sony reapir station be 4 pounds unless it had a PS3 in it?!? The coffin for my 360, with all the packing materials was not even a pound.

Could Sony have sent me a new PS3, or am I dreaming?? 

A PS3 weighs 11 pounds so it can't be that... i've heard that some people have been accidentally shipped PSP's or PS2's instead of a PS3 box before.. maybe its something like that?americahellyeah

There's no way it's a PS3. I have shipped a few Wiis and I know they weigh about 9 pounds. PS3 is easily more heavy then a Wii so I am sure it's not a PS3. It could be all the packaging the box has around it.

they ship you the empty box, you put your broken one into it and ship it back. They may either give you a new one or just fix your old onesmeags11

That. and they ship you a 4lb box, u send it in and once they repair it they ship you a 16lb box.
