PS3 restarded itself while quitting a game??? PLZ REPLY!!

I decided to play some Resistance 2 and on the way the part where it says "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents", just about there, I decided to quit the game. As it was quitting, my PS3 made that sound that it makes when u first turn it on, Then it just started all over and it took me back to the XMB...

After that, I played for an extra hour and when quitting the game, it never did it again. Could it be that my PS3 restarded itself over due to the system loading the game to play?
