Its kinda hard to be a mover and shaker when you stay at the #1 spot. They are still selling well :)

Ya I know, which is why i was impressed the day after it gained 2800% it was up 500%. I am glad to see it is doing well and we will have to wait to see if it sustained (I think it will be). It will be interesting to see sales numbers for the consoles after this month, give everyone a better idea of what is going on.
So we all knew that the price was the number one factor in it's poor sales (games too, sure, but I consider that a factor in price. I mean if it was $5, no one would care about theless than stellar selection)and that a drop would help, but holy s***! This I never would've seen coming. A jump in sales, sure, but wow! Just wow! Way to go Sony! Nice to see them gaining some serious steam!:D
This is good news :). Now Sony needs to drop another hundred from the price during the holiday season and start phasing out the PS2 ASAP. There is some hope left but the PS2 must go down soon to make the PS3 a viable Next-Gen leader.

Why not just give em away for free? How much cheaper do you people think it'll get in it's first year?
