It would awsome but I think that it will be named something else not SoC 2 just ICO is the first one in the seris.

They've only created an emulator for ps2/ps1 games and graphics for ps2/ps1 games won't be optimized until the late future.

Considering the nature of the development team I highly doubt that their next project will be SOTC 2. Their mission as a company seems largely to create completely original titles that have a strong artistic sense to them.
SOTC 2 would be cool, but I would like to see what they can do with a new title on new hardware. You can be sure that the graphics will be eye-melting though, and I mean that in the best way possible.
it'll basically be the same style seen in ICO and SOtC but named differently and based around a completely different story line (however there are various similarities between the first two so the third by that studio (forget their name) will probably tie in just barely) either way, they had an article asking for ppl to apply at their studio and a new game from them on the ps3 would probably transcend reality itself
SotC was a prequel to ICO. Both of which, are VASTLY different games. The Ico Team said they were working on a PS3 project but it could just be a follow up in the series that has nothing to do w/ SotC and could just be following the Ico story. If it is a SotC2-type game, I'm very curious as to how they would continue the story resealing the demons into the colossi.
I haven't played ICO, but seems SotC was it's prequel. Seems like sequels aren't these guys style. It'll probably be similar in concept, can't really guess what this game will be like, but I know if it's anything like SotC it'll be an instant classic.

Second, I played Shadow start to finish in a few days. Am I the only one who thought the game stunk? I mean, the concept was there, taking on huge creatures. But in the end that's ALL there was. I spent more time looking for them than beating them. And it wasn't that great of a battle, you had to follow a series of predetermined steps to beat each creature. No creativity allowed or required at all....
I would love a sequel, but MUCH less linear, and more to do than just the Colossi (sp, lol?).
Also, I FUBARD being a Colossus... Controls were awkward and I didn't do much. Wish you had more time to play as it.
It would certainly be cool to have co-op gameplay (though there would still be a seperate SP game) where, in order to take down a colossus, two or more players had to be attacking at the correct points simultaneously. It would give an element of teamwork to the game, instead of just a couple of people attacking a colossus like in the SP.
