PS3 Shooters and new games?

I just bought a ps3 and the game resistance... i had it beat in like a few hours and i dont want to play online cause i didnt like the game that much and i dont have a headset because both the ps2/ps3 wired ones i bought dont work... people can hear me but i cant hear them...

i want to know what new shooters/good games are coming out soon?

i dont like sword games or that dragon game... and haze is in november on the 21st so are there any other games? cause right now i really have nothin to do on my ps3... gran turismo was only one race and game finished to wtf is wit dat?

i bought the ps3 for socom confrontation and now i hear its being cancled so wtf am i supposed to do with the ps3?

i got gta IV and mass effect preorderd for my 360 so is their anything besides heven sword and lair or watev coming soon... and when will home be released?

i also preordered call of duty 4 on 360... i preorderd all these before i even thought of buying ps3... then i saw confrontation and i rushed and preordered ps3

should i return it... just got it 2 days ago?

is there anything else it can do besides blu ray dvds?

Stranglehold is gonna be a good game, it comes out next month.

Warhawk is a third person Battlefield style game. then UT3 is coming out later in the fall.

don't forget that SOCOM (there will be 2 SOCOM games; SOCOM Confrontation and SOCOM 4) and Killzone will be coming out next year.

I am really starting to think that you're a 360 fanboy coming on here to try to "corner us" so to speak. you said you beat Resistance in "few hours", are you kidding me? I believe it will take you a lot more than just few hours to beat it. I remember it took me and my friend playing the split screen mode at least 15 hoursto beat and that was on easy mode,so I don't know what you're talking about when you say "few hours". If it really takes you few hours to finish a game, how many games do you want released for you every month?

do you have Rainbow six on your 360? that one is pretty good and has more maps on it than the version of the 360. Another FPS that I enjoyed myself is Call of Duty 3. Also Warhawk is coming out soon and that's a game that you would want to play on your PS3. you said you don't like sword games, so that would put you in a very limited category which is FPS only. Are you only into FPS? Do you like RPG games. God of War is one of the greatest ones out there. It's on PS2 and but will play just fine on your PS3. Oher than that, you have to wait for Haze, UT3 which are coming out in the next few months.

I suggest get yourself a Wii with the money you get from returning the PS3. The Wii is getting alot of great games. Dont forget about the BIG 3 :D Prime 3, Galaxy, and Brawl. Plus you cant go wrong with teh VC games.

Also with the money i suggest picking up more good 360 titles that will PWN in the future.

I haven't had any trouble getting my PS2 headset to work on my PS3. I'm wondering if your firewall is the problem. When I used to live in the dorms, I would play PS2 games online and everyone could hear me, but I couldn't hear anyone else. It turned out that the problem was that I was behind my University's firewall, and it was blocking all incoming messages. I never found a way around it, so I usually just played without a headset.

I also have a hard time believing that Resistance took a "few hours". Even cooperativly, it still takes 12-15 hours. Plus after you beat it once, you get a bunch of new weapons the second time through the game.

that would be a huge mistake....but that's your choice. there are good games out now and great games coming out. you are going to miss out. don't listen to that ONE PERSON who says the PS3 only had MGS4. it has atleast 8 EXCLUSIVE games coming out by the end of the year. 8 great exclusive games in 5 months is hard to beat.

Anyone else annoyed by people saying they can play the multi plats on the 360? I mean, what kind of argument is that, you can just as much say you can play them on the PS3. If you pre-ordered them for the 360, don't moan, you could as well have pre-ordered them for the PS3 and moaned about there being nothing on the 360...

And if you're so into shooters, get a PC, that's how those games are supposed to be played anyways.
