and not only FAT32.

I downloaded a specific file from the Internet, which is more than 4GB large. But I was unable to copy the file to my External HDD (FAT32), because the file was to big. So now I cannot enjoy the file in Full HD on my PS3. Which is to bad.

Microsoft have never been very forthcoming with information about NTFS (not NFTS) this is why support is limited on most non-Microsoft operating systems. FAT32 just happens to be a format that is supported on pretty much everything, and isn't a constantly evolving format like Microsofts NTFS.

Enable media sharing and you can copy the file over your local area network.

yea NTFS > FAT32 but NTFS is owned by M$ and if M$ won't let SONY use it then what can SONY do ??

what we really need is FAT32 to be expanded so it supports larger files and larger HDD's
