i have two fat ps3s , at the time i bought the second the slim was already out but i prefer the design of the old ps3 ... it looks so much better (when without dust on top)
I have one of each, and I really liked the look of my slim when I got it but was thoroughly dissapointed when I saw that it didn't have the nice touch buttons that the fatty one did ;-;
fat is the only one with ps3 game playing capability no?AshleyTaiosNo, all PS3s have PS3 game playing capability.
slim, it has smaller size, less power consumption, and less YLOD.

Less YLOD? im not sure if 0.2% can go even lower...
Less power consumption, ill have to look into that...
FAT STILL SEXY (in ps3 terms that is :P)
I had the original launch console, when it finally died I went and bought a slim and I have to be honest...I prefer the slim by far, it's quieter than my other system and it uses less energy, so it's win win. :)MushroomWigMine makes noise at certain times, like when playing GTA4, and gets extremely hot. I must be unlucky :(

Who says the failure rate is 0.2%? And how does anyone know if the Slim has a lower chance of YLOD? Of course one will have a higher or lower failure simply because they are both designed differently, but that doesn't mean the Slim is more reliable.[QUOTE="dah_master"][QUOTE="oajlu"]
