Hi, I already wanted to join this forum for a little while and now was the perfect time to join... My ps3 slim shuts off randomly without any sign of overheating or stuff... 1. I read all other topics but somehow they're all different probs then mine 2. It was on a shelf for 1,5 year and I never expirienced any problems until now 3. It just turns off itself no beeps, no red lights blinking and no yellow lights blinking 4. I removed my ps3 from the shelf and put it on my table, still it turns off... 5. I opened all my windows to make it cool in my room... It was really cold, but it still turned off 6. I cleaned it with the vacuumcleaner, no results the problems still remains. 7. It shuts off at random times, sometimes after 6 hours, sometimes after 3 mins or after 2 hours. Very random 8. It's not smoking hot when it's turning off. I already called Sony and they said: Overheating, dust or a broken cable. I apologize for any spelling mistakes, English wasn't my greatest subject at school... Please help me! I want to play! there are tons of people having problems with the new model ps3's, one of my best friends eventually pawned his after swapping it for another only to have the same freezing issue, i am sooooooo glad i own an original...
