Any ideas about how to fix??? The PS button and the face buttons all stick slightly, but not too bad that you can't use them.

Use some WD-40 and spray inside the crevices of the buttons and analog sticks. Works lie a charm.

Or a slightly damp tooth brush around the buttons.

exactly, brush around the buttons, thats usually where the stick is from. kinda dig the bristles into the sides of the buttons to loosen it all up.

Boil some water and hold the controller over the boiling water and let the steam do the work for you. I've done this and it works great!

I can not stand sticky buttons, it will rune a controller. It is something I've been dealing with for a few years now. Because I have 2 kids that use them (7 and 11 years old) I just recently took apart my PS3 controller because of a sticky O button. It was a pain, and took me about an hour. With the last 40 minutes spent trying to get it to snap back into place. Eventually I opened up my 2nd controller to see what I was doing wrong. Turns out the circuit board seems to lay flat when you put it back, but I did't realize the side by the trigger buttons needs to go underneith a little piece of plastic near the tiggers. In the end it turned out perfectly and I can now do it in probably 20 minutes. While I had it apart I noticed that there is only one spring on each side of the L2 and R2 buttons and there is room for one more on each side. If ever one of my controllers totaly breaks I'm gonna take out the springs and put them in my working one. Just so it will spring back better and probably smoother
