PS3 store is not a satisfactory worldwide (lacks alot)!!!!

I live in saudi arabia and the ps3 store opened few monthes ago but the items are not the same as in the EU or US ones.

Why dont they just provide the same items in all the stores worldwide??!! :evil:

And is there anyway i can check the upcoming updates for the PS3 store in my country?

First of all: PATIENCE FFS! just like the rest of us have. Second: The US store gets alot of great stuff, while the EU store gets junk 3 times, then it gets something good. then the UK store gets something good. and alot of us have just about gotten used to it. Some people clearly haven't figured out that. that's how it works, but hopefully they will, or else they are gonna feel Reaaaally stupid later on. And also, at some point, the store in Saudi Arabia will get better stuff. as you said, it just opened up. Give it some time before you get mad (for no reason)

I thinked and thinked alot about this:

1- I already have an american account but sony blocked other countries from using other's stores for making prushases. You can only download free items. u cant use credit card in other's stores.

2- i thk the last update for the saudi store contained only two items!! one of them is the DMC4 trailer.

So, the development process doesnt look promising!!

i hope things gets better. But on this rate, we'll have to w8 for a long time to get the good stuff.

anyways i think different znoes have different teams and also different agreements between devs to release content.

For example EU got Darkness demo way before US, because it was made in EU.

In Japan they get GT5 prologue before US because the game is made there.

Same thing with the US. ( i don't have any examples because I don't check the other stores anymore)

Where are you from?? you're the 2nd person that says he's been able to buy from outside the US (if you're outside the US that's it)

just got my ps3, and was really dissapointed with the lack of content on PS store. compared to my xbox live marketplace, ps store is terrible.

I do have both. it is entirely possible you know. and IMO if you dont have both you dont have a say as to what is better. and in this case Live is a lot better. its been a year, they need to pull up there sox. atleast i have the blu-ray player now.oldsoulco

You said it yourself.. Live had... 4 years. PSN 1 year.. you do the math ;) and owning both consoles is a must. but some poor people are forced to live in boxes if they go out and buy two consoles (wich imo are cheap. since i have too much money. lol) But for me, the stuff we're getting on the PSN for free, In-game messaging is on it's way (as it's been said many times before) etc etc. all for free. online play = free, everything BUT downloadable games and map-packs = free.... and free is always the winner IMO. not saying it's everyones opinion, but just mine (people tend to look past that and think i speak for everyone. but i only speak for myself)
