PS3 succeed to bypass the Wii

and this is just the start ,in my opinion.it turns out that during the last week the PS3 succeed to bypass the Wii,and to stand in the first place in the hardware sales,in japan.

i already said the the Wii is out of the contest, because it designate for different audience/community then the PS3/360.

JAPAN HARDWARE SALES - LAST WEEK :

1.PlayStation 3 - 75,311 units

2.PSP - 64,675 units

3.Wii - 45,564 units

4.Nintendo DS - 39,201 units

5.PlayStation 2 - 7,297 units

6.Xbox 360 - 2,163 units

no doubt thet MGS4 has a hand in this.and we got GOW,KILLZONE,GT5 . and after a while even the not exclusives will look beter on the PS3.

I beg to differ. I think there are a lot of simple and fun multiplayer games on the Wii, such as Boom Blox, LostWinds, Mario Kart Wii, Smash Bros. Brawl, etc. as well as some great single player adventure games: LOZ: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario. Sure, there's a crapload of shovelware, but that's pretty much been the case for every Nintendo system ever made. Just because the graphics look more last-gen, doesn't mean it's no good. One thing I like about the Wii is the LOCAL multiplayer games, because that is something that PS3 is really lacking. However, I bought my PS3 to be able to play online, play games with better graphics and more adult-oriented storylines. But that in no way means I can't take a step back and enjoy my innovative Wiimotes and Balance Board. Alright, I think I'm done ranting.... Sorry if I turned this into a system wars thread, but I think that's where this was going anyway.

I'd never thought that would happend. But i've always hoped for that. But it did happend ! Great. Don't get me wrong, i'm no fanboy, infact, i have all the consoles. And after playing MGS4, i say that the PS3 has the better games and with that, is the best consoles. (sry Microsoft for stabbing you in the back)

no it wont those sales arent regular sales. the ps3 just had a sale spike because of metal gear solid 4 it will go back down soond_ano
