Okay I posted something similar to this before but, The shop don't have the 250GB PS3 cause they sold out.

OkayI wanted to play Assassins Creed 2 and it said i needed a System update so iAgreed (Why not Agree?)

As it was Loading the Update or whatever it got stuck at 50% and then an Error ocurred and it went through the count down to restart and try again (I Didnt get a Error Code i don't think).

I let it restart and It went straight the the System update.

Now it gets stuck at 50% everytime i turn on my PS3 and I now get an Error Code and it is(I've Remebered it Exactly) 8002F1F0(Im not sure if there Zero's or the letter "O")

The PS3 was a Christmas Present from my Eldest Brother so i really want to get It working again.

Please Help!!!

(I live in Australia Obviously)

How exactly is it obvious that you live in Australia? This IS an international board you know... Anyway, your best bet is just to call Sony's tech support. If they can't help you then have your brothers exchange it for a new one.

Try this. Download the system update from the PS3 website, then put it on a flash drive and use that to update your PS3. http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3
