If you have a laptop with a HDMI port can you hook up your PS3 and have it play out of the laptop monitor? Are there HDMI in & out ports or just a general two way port? Anybody done this for PS3 on the go? Thanx

I don't think you can. I'm pretty sure the HDMI port on the laptop is just an out like the one on the back of the ps3.

Yeah, I don't think so either. I think the HDMI port on your laptop is just there so you can hook it up to an HDTV.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a laptop with a HDMI input. I don't even think they exist. My laptop has HDMI out, but i just use that to run through my HDTV.

This is a real pain. Hard to find a way to play when travel. Monitors are kinda big to lug around and expensive to just get to play away from home. Plus the sound out of monitors probably not the best. I'd like to find a 15 to 17 inch monitor that looks really good with an HDMI port that I can play the PS3 without much trouble?
