PS3 to pick up 360 title

Whilst we can't reveal any specifics right now, we can now reveal that the PlayStation 3 will play host to a popular 360 favourite. The title, which has to remain under wraps with us for the time being, will be released towards the end of the year. We've been promised more information in roughly a month's time, at which point we'll be able to share the specifics, first.

Our contact has also let us know that the studio will have other exciting news to share soon enough. Note that we can not talk about this further at this stage.

Just re-read it (previously in SW).

I guess the game:
a) Isn't exclusive; referred to simply as 'a popular 360 favorite' (thus, it's probaby on PC as well)
b) Will be released towards the end of the year

A. tells me that it likely won't be GTA4 DLC (exclusive).
B. tells me that it isn't Mass Effect 2 (2010 release)

That leaves Left 4 Dead 2.
Anyone agree/disagree?

To the people saying it's going to be Gears of War, Mass Effect, or any other MS title. Don't count on those. Any game under the Microsoft Game Studios publishing label will most likely not be showing up on PS3. L4D is a possibility though.

I really hope its Splinter Cell: Conviction. I don't know why Ubisoft would keep this an Xbox exclusive unless Microsoft gave them a big check. Even if its not Splinter Cell, there is no way that is a permenant exclusive.

I hope it's Splinter Cell Conviction -- because I can't wait for another Hitman game and it looks like that's the direction they're taking this series into.
