PS3 trade in

Can anyone tell me how much they got for trading in a 80gb PS3. From Eb games or gamestop, whatever. No one answered a phone today, so I couldn't find out. I want to get a slim, so I'm just wondering how much more moneyI'll need.

Not very much I think... just sell it to someone else.

I'm just trying to figure out why someone would sell a last gen PS3 for a current SLIM one?

Whats the motivation? Bigger HDD?? why not just buy a 500g for 50 bucks??

well if I were to sell it on ebay, what would be a fair starting price for a bid? With the slim coming out I have no idea what it's worth anymore.peace69

I imagine you can get at least 200 for it on Ebay or Craig's List. Just go to Ebay and see what some of the systems are selling for and then you can make a pretty fair estimate as to what you will get for the system. Don't sell it at Ebgames or Gamestop.

Your probably only going to get $100 dollars or something. You pretty much get half of what the current value is for a product there. There is no advantage to getting the slim so just keep your fat.
