PS3 Trophies and the lack of

Ok so trophies arent retroactive which kinda sucks but is fair but if so where the fark are the trophies for all these other games, wtf do they expect us to do sit around and not play games fully like MGS4, BF: BC and GTA4 until there finally patched?

Where the hell are the trophies in games anyone whats the soonest the next lot of trophies will be patched in.

It sounds like games tied to your psn account will be retroactive (Burnourt and Warhawk).. Games like uncharted i wouldent mind playing again for trophies. And all games goin foward will support it. Not my cup of tea but we shall see.

not out yet. they just patched the game so itll feature more play modes and some other stuff. still no trophies yet...

I havent played Warhawk for a while, has it got trophies yet coz I dont think so,when are some more trophies comin? Btw Star Wars Force Unleashed has said they wont have trophies so WTF is up with that its bs, prolly won't be buying it now.Pusha_A

Yah there really is a lack. But its on such short notice for previous games. Many times, publishers n devs arent able to patch it up due to time constraints n such...AKA COd4 and infinity ward...

Other times, just may not wanna patch it up..?

All games, or most, that are commin out in the future will have em. No worries..

Sorry to hear your sad about that I don't base my game purchases on whether they have trophies or not however I was iffy about this game and then to hear the developers blatantly neglect a new feature on the console I was going to purchase there game on possibly the can go get stuffed, theres no reason why they shouldnt do trophies in any new game especially a multi-platform where they would have taken the time to make acheivments for cr@p box

havin a trophy or not isnt going to make a bad game good. its gamers that expect that, that will just be another way bad and unfinished games sell well and then we just get handed more and more crap each year.

What ever happened to playing games because of the game itself. People seem to be more concerned with getting things that don't really matter than they do about having fun and so forth. So what if you have 10 bronze trophies, 5 silver trophies, and 2 gold ones. What does that do for the game itself to make it better? All it basically will show is that some people have no lives and that they care way too much about being the best there is at video games. If I was 12 or 13, I would have cared more, but now that I am older being the best and playing games for 12 hours at a clip isn't that big of a deal. There is way too much complaining about what there isn't and not enough talk about what is fun and cool about the games that will be out and that are out now. gamenerd15

He has a point thought seriously, I mean even if trophies arn't much is sad how sony cant do somethin and xbox can do it each game, adn yea theer isnt much of a big deal but for someone like me who has a 360 and ps3, if its a multi platform game I'm buying it for 360. Cause 360 has a litttle extra because of achievments

Why do people care so much about trophies or gamerscore to the point of regulating their gaming habits and likes to fit them? I just dont understand it. The games you're talking about were well into development and programming far before the trophy system was unveiled. That's why they don't have trophies. It has nothing to do with the "worth" or value of the ps3. After the trophy system is fully implemented (which just hasn't happened yet), all ps3 games that are released will have trophies.

argh...u people that only care about stats, achievements and trophies are annoying...if that's the only reason u play games then keep these pointless threads reserved for your blogs...and keep in mind...sony is not making it a requirement that their games support trophies...
