I checked all the wires and the are all secured firmly into the right slots. I'm using a HDMI wire. Can anyone help me?

Try turning it off and then turning it on by holding the Power button down for 5 seconds. This will reset the video output and scan and detect your HDMI.

you may not have set your video or audio input to HDMI

hook it back up with the componet cables it came with, go to vid and audio settings and make sure theyre set to HDMI, turn it off, hook it up with the HDMI and it should work

i had the same issue when i first got an HDMI

This works any time you're changing between HDMI, component, and standard cables.

I've already tried what you said patriots and it didn't work and I've had no problems playing using the HDMI before today.
