PS3 - TV video Problem, Please Help

ok, so i connect mi ps3 to my friend`stv (non HD tv) and lines start coming out from the TV soobviously you cannot see whats happening on the screen, i can see the Ps3 dashboard but it just confusing, i have connected my PS3 on 3 tvs and its the same problem, in mi home (my tv) works just fine, i dont known why only on my friend`s TV it doesnt work HELP

If you are going from HD to SD or SD to HD you have to change the PS3's video settings. The dashboard pops up to let you know you have time to change the settings. if you don't do anything it goes back to default settings. In your case HD. Change your video to SD settings in the time allotted. should work then. Or at your TV change to SD before you take it over to your friends. It should work right away then.
