Seems like a pretty intense stress test as far as temperature goes. I know electronics run better if it's cooler, but 0 degrees is pretty extreme, as is the 120 degree test.
I wasn't too worried to begin with but now I know it wont get too hot and overheat.
120 degrees? Whoa. If peoplewere built like PS3's, then living in deserts wouldn't be a problem.NazzyQ
My PS3 has been in Iraq with me for 3 months now and still runs like a champ. We have gotten to 121 a few times and playing in command tents (where it can get to 144). Take that overheat issues. Plus there is all the dirt and grime to go along with it.

That's also very good to hear. Even with all the dust the PS3 hangs in there.
By the way thanks for all of your hard work in Iraq!
Apparently if the world freezes over or catches on fire the only thing that will remain is the PS3! Kind of scary if you think about it.

yes thank you indeed
The PS3 was designed with use in mind. They designed it to take the heat and keep going. The 360 was designed to over heat anytime all the time. Thats one way to boost your deck sales, make a crappy machine so people have to keep buying new ones :D. The 360 would over heat outside in Antarctica in July (thats the dead of winter in Antarctica :) )
PS3 = good
360 = pile of week old festering camel dung with inch long maggots.
PS 3: One Vision, One Purpose, The Best, End of Story!
[QUOTE="realmarine187"]For all those who say thanks, Thank You. its corny but its the small things that matter. Stay cool guys.dstryr13
it is not corny at all and there is no need for you to thank us back because you are already doing more than we could ask for
agreed. Yeah, I'm glad it can stand the temps. but I'm concerned whenever I pull a game out because it's on fire, figuratively speaking.
