ps3 update problem: not working!!!!!!!!

i downloaded it like five times but it keeps saying i have a connection problem, i turned off my router and turned it on again and now im downloading it again. it gets that message when its around 30-40 percent. please if someone knows what to do to fix it please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
