the rumble works with when you play with a PS2 controller. You need a cable for that though...Â

the rumble works with when you play with a PS2 controller. You need a cable for that though...
no, it doesn't. the rumble will only work for third party accessories like fight sticks and steering wheels. PS2 controllers will not rumble when connected to the PS3.

rumble will work with ps2 controller, u just need a ps2 to usb adapter.
This is true, games like Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank also work now.
It also fixed an issue which made some games pause for a second occasionally (usually after entering new areas). I think the issue was related to the DVD going idle and not spinning up quite in time to load new data in. Now fixed!
I'm impressed with the regularity of SCEI's PSP and PS3 updates. Don't have to wait too long for the latest improvements they're working on.
Does force feedback finally work in gt4 now? Before, the only thing you could ever have force feedback on the ps3 was gthd, since ps2 games wouldn't work with it while playing on the ps3.
