ps3 video?..please help

when you go on the Internet with your ps3 to sights such as youtube (ect.) can you watch the videos straight off the Internet or does the ps3 not do that?

and also do you need a wireless router to surf the web?

No you do not need a wireless router, wired routers work fine as well.
