if i was u and u have a ps3 and a HDTV i would get a HDMI cable they make the sounds so much better and the graphics its just amazing my dad made me buy one and didnt really want to at the time because i didnt know what they were like but i got one i thank my dad =]before i had one it just made my tv and the graphics just blury but now its clear as a spyglass u can get one from ur local game store they are quite cheap as well

hahah yea couldnt agree more i didnt think HDMI cable would make THAT big a difference, boy was i wrong....

The HDMI cable didn't really give me that much of an improvement over the component cable except for upscaling of DVD's. I can see how it would help if you were using the composite cable, though. Going from 480p to 720p or 1080p does make a huge difference.

you must have went from composite cables (the ship in box cables) to hdmi. if you would have had component the difference would not be so big. How does your dad make you buy a gaming accessory? if he wanted it he should have gotten it.

I have an xbox360 with component and a PS3 with HDMI . Man, the difference between both is so big that my 360 is becoming the dust collector now . Multiplats are going to be PS3 versions simply because of that reason !!! Component is real crap !!
