Alright so I've searched and found that it is possible to play PS3 on a monitor as long as it supports HDCP. Now I already have a monitor in mind, but my problem is the sound.

I've seen some topics say I could get the Logitech Video Game Console Adapter, but the thing is I have speakers already and the only way I can get it is to buy a set of Logitech 5.1 speakers. I've seen some alone but only on the internet and ATM I can't purchase stuff online.

As I said I have an extra set of PC speakers and I would like to know is there any way I could get it to do sound from the PS3. Is there any cables, or anything to get it to work.

If it's a must, I will buy some cheap speakers, I don't really need quality sound.

Im trying to buy my stuff from either www.bestbuy.ca, or www.futureshop.ca (Ya I know, probably not the best places to go)

Thanks in advance.

Hold on son! don't do anything yet. Now, i assume u're trying to connect using HDMI, that is ure gonna use an HDMI dvi adaptor. Well if thats the case,

1. connect ur hdmi cable to the monitor and to ur ps3

2. connect ur AV component cable to ur ps3

3. U need a female -male splitter toconnect the AV (red and white cables) to.

4. There is a middlepiece that u cangetwhich connects speaker to speaker. (both female ends).

They're easy tofind. Go to a radioshack
