Hi. I bought a 40 gb Playstation 3 with grand theft auto 4 yesterday and when I hooked it up to this tv. Sony KP-57XBR10W 57 in. Television I didn't get any picture but the ps3 was functioning properly. I tried the ps3 on another tv and it worked perfectly. Can anyone help? By the way I play my ps2 on that Sony tv on the same tv settings as the ps3 and it works. Help?

Thanks in advance! 8)

Make sure the resolution settings are correct in display settings. For example, if your tv is 1080i and the settings are to 1080p you won't get a picture. You should try to reset the settings on the ps3 by turning the power off (not on the back) and then turn it back on by holding down the power button for about 10 secs. this should reset the display settings and you should get a picture.

Good luck.

did you also buy a component cables?

If you want to use component cables on initial setup, you got to first use the composite, then go into the video settings, select component, then pull out the composite and plug the component in.
