So I've just got a PS3 and a copy of MW2 but find the PS controller uncomfortable to use because of it's small size. Coming over from xbox I find that controller doesn't make my hands ache so much, was told a breakout box would allow me to use xbox controller on PS3 Now none of my controllers work on MW2 can anyone help please? Might want to check out this thread. Might lead you to what you want.

Sony Playstation 3

I felt the same way after playing my 360 for an extended period of time, I am now quite comfortable with the Sixaxis. Despite it being very small.

I'm sure theres a third party controller somewhere that would be bigger. Personally I can't stand the bulky xbox controller, but love the DS3 haha

try holding more loosely, xbox controller hugs the palms where ps3 controller just rests on your fingers, maybe you're just too used to the xbox and trying to hold it like the xbox one.

I wish I could get that in the UK I might play my PS3 a bit more. The 6-axis is terrible, is it made for a 6 year-old's hands or something?

I agree that you will get used to the controller. When I first switched over to mainly playing the ps3 I felt the same way. It only took me about two weeks before I got over it. Now I like the PS3 controller a lot better. I would suggest just giving it a little time.

Give it time. Thought I preferred the 360's controller for FPS too until I purchased a 2nd copy of MW2 (the shame, the shame), this time for my PS3, as I have way more friends who own Sony's gem. After a week I couldn't tell the difference, except by comparing my stats from both consoles. My accuracy was greater on the PS3 playing with the Dualshock and remains so to this very day :D

the controller of the PS3 and X360 are of the same size, the difference lies in their ergonomic forms. So that excuse about "I have big hands and the DS3 is too small compared to the X360" are all lies.

I hear there's a huge dead zone, that's the only reason I haven't picked one up yet. The DS3 is perfect for everything outside of shooters, as the xbc is great for shooters and nothing else. That's what my hands tell me at least.

I think there's a PS3 controller that's similar to the 360's controller.

There is it's called the Power A Pro Elite wireless controller. I checked out some youtube reviews, it seems good and looks just like a 360 controller.I'm getting a PS3 & that's the one I'm gonna get as I can't stand the playstation remotes. I am selling my whole Wii setup and am going to be getting a PS3 very soon. I have a 360 which I love, but am so tired of not being able to play a decent baseball game. So I wanna get MLB 11 The Show, as well as Uncharted 1&2, God of War 3, and Heavy Rain. I know this is off topic but does anyone know any other must have exclusives?

I recently bought the Pro Elite controller and it's honestly the best piece of 3rd party hardware I've ever had. It feels amazing and I didn't notice any of the dead zones I read about before making the purchase. It feels great and is a dream for anyone who prefers the 360 controller.

Not only its size, its analogue sticks are AWFUL, especially for a FPS game. They really hurt my fingers.

Good to hear, I'm thinking about buying that myself. Though I probably won't be able to for a while.

How is the analogue stick awful on the ps3?

Thats the only thing i cant stand the xbox controller is the analogue stick have too much dead zone( the circle is way too tight and small)
