are the graphics for a ps3 good even without a hd tv? I heard that without a hd tv, the graphics are not much better than a ps2 game that has good graphics like god of war.
The Graphics are the same on a SD-TV as they are on an HD-TV. since the TV doesn't change the graphics. Developers do. the only thing about the HD-TV's is that it looks smoother and all kinds of other eye-candy.. the Graphics won't change

Nooo. The graphics are more detailed (higher resolution), and the colors appear more vibrant on a HDTV, but still basically the same graphics (despite what some others might say).
I love my HDTV couldn't go back to SD, i mean when i got the PS3 i was using a 28" SD widescreen and i thought that was the beenads, but about a month later i got a 32" HD panel and blew my mind away, in my opinion a HDTV is a must, however dont forget it isnt necessary so dont make yourself uber poor getting one.
the graphics are the same..its just more pixels. i have an sdtv and my parents will never buy me a hdtv so im screwed for along time to come...i dont even have a ps3 yet:cry:
