So i get home and i go to watch a movie on my ps3. Normally when i go to video it usually has my computer already on there so i just go to the all videos and find a movie. however, tonight it wasnt there.

So i did a search for media servers and nothing came up. I rechecked my WP11 settings and it's set to allow it. But i'm still not getting anything. wtf?

Well is your Internet connection working? I do know that today time warner in the NYC area had some service outages but once they fixed it, my laptop was able to connect. The only other suggestion is to maybe restart your computer as well as your ps3 and perhaps check again. Sorry my answer isn't more certain

The only thing I can suggest is to turn off the ps3 and computer and then reset your modem and router by turning the power off on both. Make sure you wait until your internet is back online before turning on the ps3. This works for me when I get connection problems.

If it's an .avi file or something like that you can burn it to a disc and it'll work just fine as a temp fix.

I have similar probs right now streaming movies to my ps3 but only cause I effed up my computer:?

Good Luck

Download TVersity, share the folder on your computer, load the directory into TVersity, and then restart the computer.

Worked for me last night after several days of wondering what was going on.
