It won't read any games, movies, or regular cd's. It will play demos and other downloaded games though. Is there anything I can do to fix it or will I have to send it in for repairs?

Your blueray might be stuffed up. You will have to send it in, but hey for 200 dollars you get a new PS3.

you might be able to fix it but obviously that means opening it up which obviously means voiding your warrenty, which also most likely means obviously sony won't touch it afterwords.

anyways if your willing to risk all that then open her up and clean the lens with a brand new microfiber cloth....assuming you hear the disks spin when you put a cd in. if not then something else is wrong which may or may not be obvious to someone with a sharp mind and eyes. and of course opening up your ps3 will require skill and knowlege about safty and all that jazz so you don't burn your house down or w/e

Sounds like you'll need to send it to Sony.
