PS3 yellow light ?

a couple days ago i was playing call of duty and all of a sudden my ps3 shut off and a yellow light came on and now it wont turn on. it'll like turn on for a second and then it turns off to yellow then red light starts flashing

HELP anyone

alright ill try that. and one more thing do you think im gonna have to buy a new call of duty cuz the other is inside the ps3

You shouldn't have to buy a new game. Just mention it to Sony when you send it in, and they should remove it for you. The yellow light happened to me too, so I know how you feel.Eldrew

same i think i was the 1st to ever post it when i got it..

I'm gonna be getting a PS3 real soon and I was wondering is this yellow light thing becoming widespread or is it only a few poeple with this issue? What are the odds of me getting the yellow light when I get me a 40GB PS3?
