Hey guys I just looked at VG chartz and the PS3 sold 70,000 more units just this week more than the 360, and my friend that works at bestbuy says that they are sold out at his location, I think a major tide shift has come and there looks to be no rain in the PS3 forecast, BTW this topic is not meant to be flamebait w/e it is simply to discuss how PS3 sales are on the increase so PLEASE DO NOT LOCK THIS TOPIC FOR SIMPLY DISCUSSING SALES, IT DOES NOT BELONG IN SYSTEM WARS BECAUSE I'm NOT TRYING TO BATTLE NOBODY!!!

vg chartz are rubbish last month when the 360 had a price drop they said it was outselling the ps3 which wasnt the case at all, for long term numbers there ok though as the correct themselves, but week by week you cant take them serious
the ps3 is selling well though now, needs little big planet and another price drop and sales will explode

You're quite the dumbass, aren't you? A continuous increase in sales is good for PS3 fans because the total number of units sold increases. Once the total number of PS3's sold catches up and surpasses the Failbox360, we'll see more third party exclusives and more multi-platform games that are superior to the Failbox versions.
people are starting to sell the ps3 higher than msrp on craigslist and stuff in my area because the ps3 is so rare now, when ever the shipment comes in, its gone 3 hours later.

i thought it was 60k, and last weeks and this weeks numbers arent up yet (except Japan and other), id say the main reason sales are up is cuz the 80gb is 399 and might possibly be confusing some people into buying it thinking it has BC. The more interesting weekly sales numbers will be for the next 4 weeks because of the other recent price cut
we all benefit cuz if the ps3 sells more, then ore devs are willing to make games for the ps3, and we have more ppl to play with online... and this is the short form.
....there are ps3's, wii's, and 360's sitting on the shelf at the store that I go to for my videogames, heck, all three consoles are sitting on the shelf everywhere! oh, theres a shift of the tide alright, a shift away from buying video games.......
my walmart had like 5 left when i saw rows of them two days ago. I called my friend to notify him ( cuz he wanted one badly). The guy went only to have the last one bought by some woman 2 minutes b4. A shame really.

On topic #1 VG Chartz is a joke #2 This thread belongs in SW #3 Why do you care about numbers? The only thing you should really care about is that is sells period. Numbers really shouldn't matter unless you are a stock holder.
Hello Mr. Snake. I do appreciate that you weren't trying to start a fight, but the guidelines of this forum are pretty clear.
