PS3's AVAILABLE TOMORROW AT BEST BUY!

Very good news indeed, however, I told myself that I wouldn't buy one until 2007, so until Monday, I'm not buying one.

why are you guys buying the playstation 3? I will buy xbox360 and wii with same price as playstation 3. Anyway I have xbox360 and wii.kingofkings500

I had a PS3....yesterday. I was one of the lucky few to get it off amazon.com. I was very proud about it since I've been searching for a PS3 for weeks now, but just like a fisherman who catches that elusive big fish he always wanted, once I caught one I....decided to let it back into the wild.

Yes, I canceled my PS3 order on amazon 30 minutes after I ordered it. I'm probably the only person who did it. I said to myself, "do you really need this right now just to own all three consoles?" and I told myself no, especially since I could use the $600 towards my classes next semester and I need that cash.

And besides, PS3s just aren't going for what they used to on Ebay and I just felt it wasn't worth it. And there is only one game on the PS3 that I really want to play right now (Resistance) and I don't want to spend $600 right now just to play it. I feel sort of hollow inside, but that's how it goes. *sigh*.

Maybe in a couple of months though.....

• The online plan needs work.
  
• The final straw was the GT demo which felt not worthy of being called next gen.  Sure it looks good but thats it. If you hit a barrier with people a foot away you would expect people to run backwards or show some form of life.  The models just stand there looking.  Heck, the models in crazy taxi for the dreamcast jumped out of your way if you got to close.  I thought the cell processor was capable of handling such code without a performance hit.

It's advertised in the Sunday ad (bought on Saturday). They have 25 minimum per store. 2 hours should be enough time. cdmoore74

I'm really on the fence right now about a ps3.  I'm pretty happy with the games I have for 360 right now though and am feeling more and more like I'm wanting to impluse buy the ps3 just to have one.  from what i can gather, Resistance is the only really show stopping game for the console right now.

I just don't see enough on the horizon to make me want to buy one just yet...but it's getting harder and harder.

you find a ps3, that's great...but is not that everywhere has ps3 in stock since a month ago?
