i finnally have my PS3!!! i have some questions on the store...

1)can i play games while downloading demos or videos?

2)my internet connection is aprox 500 mb... is that too slow? cuz i tried to download motorstorm demo and in 20 minutes it was only 13%!!!!

3)are only demos free or some games like flow also?

and what about the dowloading time?? is it too slow my connection or i have to do something...i am in usa store...and i have a router...thats all the info

1) In march u can... they're updating the whole thing^^ 2) hmm in not good at this sort of stuff.. but there are sonme problems:O but its somethinbg to do with distances to the servers^^; some DL very fast. 3) Just demos are free. the devlopers must gain some profit some the mini games:)

and i think that they're going fix the server problem after march too:)

i am from argentina and the store is from usa...is that the reason why it is so slow the download? which country do i have to choose?

Background downloading will be added to the march firmware update. According to Engdget this is what's included:

Most of the updates revealed at this time look to be centered on the PS3's non-gaming abilities, with new Cross Media Bar multi-tasking capabilities that'll let you do voice or video chat while you browse the XMB or play games, as well as new audio playback animations, additional photo album features, auto-resume for downloads from the PlayStation Store, and "additional XMB display options"



Downloads take a while probably due to the location of the servers, I suspect that Sony's servers are all in japan but cant confirm it.

Your upstream connection is more important for online gaming than your downstream. So it's likely that any standard "broadband" connection will be fine for online gaming. I have one of the poorest downstreams going and my experience in Resistance has been virtually lag free for months.
