I'm gonna have to wait til 2014 or 2015 since there's no real reason to buy a PS4. The new MGS and GT are still PS3 titles, there's also Beyond and Last of Us. So the most talented studios aren't even close to releasing anything on PS4

Yeah except for the fact that PS4 will have vastly superior versions of every game released from to 2014 on...I would much rather play a next gen version of Watchdogs, GTAV, Destiny, Battlefield etc. All those games will look and run like crap on PS3.
Coming from a site that has an article saying the Xbox720 is looking more promising than the PS4, which is ridiculous given pretty much nothing has been confirmed about the next Xbox. "End of October" still isn't very specific, nor is it really confirmed. In either case, I'll be holding off for a little while.

Yeah, no doubt that they'll look and run much better on the PS4, but I don't really care that much. I have a high end gaming PC already. If low resolution and muddy graphics bothered me that much I would never even buy console games. But once again... I don't really care. For example, I played the PC demo of Arkham City. Sure, it looked nice and crisp and ran at a much smoother frame rate than its console counterpart, but I bought the game for my PS3 and enjoyed it all the same.

I don't know. On the official Tomb Raider forum someone was upset that system linka was not available for multi-player because their family had 7 Xbox 360s in one house!

That will be awesome if true... I think a November release if more likely though. As long as Killzone and Watchdogs are launch titles... I will purchase day one. Hopefully inFamous: Second Son will be as well.

There is no way in hell that the new MGS will come out this year on ANY platform.... this is Kojima we're talking about. And it's a pretty safe bet that it actually releases for the PS4 (and is perhaps ported to the PS3). Anyway, Killzone and the next gen version of Watchdogs are more than enough reason for me to jump into next gen. I believe inFamous will likely be in the launch window as well. All of Sony's 1st party studios are currently developing PS4 titles... so who's to say how close they are or not?

I haven't played anything on consoles for years, other than PS3 exclusives... I'm excited at the prospect of moving back to the console for a comparable experience of what I've been used to on pc gaming. I can't even fathom WANTING to enjoy an inferior version of games for the next year or two.

Exactly. I'm not into PC gaming, but if I can get a better version on a new console now way in Hell I am sticking with PS3 for complete bottom of the barrel ports.
