PS4 Jagged text HELP!

Just picked up my PS4 from my local GameStop. Hooked my baby up and connected it via my gold tipped HDMI (don't like using silver tips). Under system settings it's saying I'm displaying 1080p. However the text, even on the main dashboard is not smooth at all. I connected my PS3 and it displays smooth text. Is anyone going through is and have found a resolution?

Anyone?

Does your TV have a set up for text? Mine lets me calibrate text.

@vacas5oi: I'm on a Bravia46inch model number 46EX500. Just connected my Wii U and I get smooth text also. Ugh!

And no did not see any text setting within it. This is really bumbing me out dude. Everything else works I don't understand how the text isn't smooth. Even In game

Can you try a different port on the TV?

Seems like a PS4 setting is at fault though.

@Rusteater: I tried all 4 ports. It's super weird. I'm going to try and post a picture on here

They are talking about updating the firmware of their HDTV

@gameofthering: so glad I'm not the only one! Good find! Ima see if this works and update in a moment. Btw, called support, they said NO ONE reported this as an issue and I am the first to say it's doing so. So yeah might be a TV firmware. Crossing fingers
